Appeal has an important place in the Turkish legal system and ensures that the legality of the decision is observed.<br \/>\nAppeal Process<br \/>\nIn a civil case, the appeal process follows the announcement of the decision. One or both parties may appeal against the court decision. The appealed decision is examined and evaluated by the court of appeal. The court of appeal may confirm the decision, partially modify it or completely overturn it. When a reversal decision is made, the case is sent back to the relevant court for retrial.<br \/>\nCourt of Appeal<br \/>\nIn the Turkish legal system, courts of appeal were established in accordance with the Law on Courts of Appeal. There are two different categories of appeal courts, appeal courts and regional courts of justice. Appellate courts are responsible for reviewing appealed decisions.
