3. Precautionary Alimony
Definition: It is the temporary alimony given by the court in order to maintain economic balance until the conclusion of the case during the divorce or separation process.
Conditions: Precautionary alimony can be requested in order to provide for the parties’ livelihood while the divorce case is ongoing. This alimony is paid during the case period and is terminated according to the court decision at the end of the case.

4. Supportive Alimony

Example: An elderly individual without children may request support alimony from their siblings when they are in financial difficulty.
5. Increase or Decrease in Alimony After Divorce
Definition: It is possible to increase or decrease alimony as the economic situation changes after the divorce.
Conditions: If there is a serious change in the economic conditions of the person receiving or paying alimony, the court can request that the alimony amount be adjusted.
Example: If the spouse paying alimony has lost his/her job, a reduction in alimony can be requested.
