Information on Objection to Extraterritorial Deportation Decision
A deportation decision is the process of removing a foreigner from Turkey. This decision may be made by the General Directorate of Migration Management for various reasons. Foreigners who receive a deportation decision have the right to object to this decision through legal means.
Objection Period
Objection against the deportation decision must be made within 7 days from the date of notification of the decision. If no objection is made within this period, the decision becomes final and the foreigner is deported.

Objection to the deportation decision must be made to the administrative courts. The objection petition must be submitted to the administrative court where the decision was notified.
Things to Include in the Objection Petition
In the objection petition,
• Identity information of the objector
• Date and number of the deportation decision
• Grounds for objection
• Evidence supporting the objection
must be found.
Evaluation of the Objection
The administrative court makes a decision after reviewing the objection petition and the evidence presented. The court evaluates whether the deportation decision is lawful.
